Veteran actor Prakash Raj has come out strongly against the ban on  Abir Gulaal , a romantic drama featuring Fawad Khan and Vaani Kapoor. In a candid interview with  The Lallantop , Raj emphasized that no film—regardless of its political leaning or message—should be banned unless it contains illegal content such as pornography or child abuse. “I don’t support the banning of any film, whether it’s right-wing or propaganda. It’s the audience’s right to decide. Let the people choose what they want to watch,” he said. Nidarshana Gowani organizes felicitation ceremony for the Acid Attack Survivors and Fire Victims

India’s leading Real Estate Entrepreneur and Social Activist along with her trust Ankibai Ghamandiram Gowani Trust organized a felicitation ceremony for the Acid Attack Survivors and Fire. During the ceremony Nidarshana Gowani and leading plastic surgeon Sandeep Jain felicitated the survivors with gifts and a token of appreciation towards the courage, determination and courage they have shown even after the horrifying attack.

The Acid Attack Survivors and Fire Victims walked the ramp along with Mrs. Nidarshana Gowani holding a candle. They face a lot of struggles in live and the candle light signifies the victory over all the hardships they face. There is a true example of shining out bright after darkness. Acid Attack survivors and fire victims often are neglected by the society and not given the opportunity to grow. The felicitation ceremony brings out a strong message to the society that no matter what the struggles are, walk your path with pride and as a light to others.

Nidarshana Gowani Says, “Even after the horrifying attack, these women have continued to live their lives and chasing their dreams. They are a true inspiration for each of us. I feel privileged and honored to spend time. As they walked with the candle, the light showcased how they are brightening their lives and the lives of the people around them. The attack has made them much stronger and beautiful in their own way. I would like to thank them for inspiring me and bringing out the true meaning of Diwali – Spreading the light in darkness. As a society let us focus on building an inclusive community and stop the attacks. India has been witnessing the highest number of acid and fire attacks against the women. Let us also give them an opportunity to grow and live a dignified life in the society”

Nidarshana Gowani and her NGO Ankibai Ghamandiram Gowani Trust holds events throughout the year to encourage and support the different sections of the society. These events encourage the people impacted to lead their life with dignity and pride. It also pushes across a strong message in the society that we should not discriminate and help every section of the society to grow. We need to bring about a change in the society by building an inclusive environment.

Nidarshana Gowani and her trust has been conducting such events throughout the year. She has always focused on working towards the development of the less privileged sections of the society.
